Captain Jeter and the Crew at Strawberry

On Saturday we took the dogs, yes all three, up to Strawberry on the boat for the first time. None of the dogs have ever been on a boat before, so we were both a little worried about how they would handle the movement on the water.

The launch was a little nerve racking just because I thought they would jump out of the boat on the ramp, but they all handled it like old pros. On the water they were up in the bow of the boat, wind blowing in their faces, loving the lake. They weren't scared at all!

We found a spot to take a break and let them get in the water and swim around for a minute and they were having the time of their lives. Jeter had never been swimming before (besides in the bathtub, but that's not really swimming) so I was excited to see he was a natural at it! The second his paws hit the water he was gone, swimming around and having a great time. He didn't even get his little afro wet! Boy were they some tired pups after swimming, all they wanted to do was sleep!

Lake Powell here we come!
